Who's the speediest?!

Kali is!  She had to sell Cardinal cards for cross country (which we found out about today at 5:30)and sold all of them in less than an hour!  Okay, so she only had 5 of them, but the entire football team, XC team, AND volleyball team had to sell them!  When you figure approximately 50 kids, times 5 cards (10 for the high-schoolers), that equals about the population of Soda Springs!  When the kids came out of the school after getting the Cardinal cards, (at 6:30) it was absolute pandamonium!  Kali and Alexa were afraid that they were going to get run over in the parking lot!  I too was a bit scared for our lives.  Kali hopped into the car and we squealed around the corner to Aunt Krista's house to catch her first, since a lot of her neighbors sell the cards too! We were trying to figure out who on our street to sell to while on the drive home.  When we turned onto our street, we saw 2 kids selling so I dropped Kali off to hit some of the neighbors.  Some weren't home, MANY had already been hit, so Kali ran up and down the street finding someone to sell a card to!  Uncle Brock had suggested that his parents may buy one so we got into the car and headed over to their house.  Yup, he was right, another sale!  Then over to his sister's house we went, and BAM! another sale!  Last but not least, we got Gma and Gpa Pete.  We had to text them and remind them NOT to buy from their neighbors so that Kali could sell them one.  Wow, that Cardinal fundraising can be fierce!  We ended up eating at Arctic Circle because of all the running around and when we came out of Arctic, a kid yelled from across the street..."Hey, wanna buy a cardinal card!?"  No thanks, I got one! (Thanks to all who supported the Cardinals on this hairraising fundraising adventure.)

  1. The Cardinal Card Selling Business can be a bit scary!! Nice job, Kali! This is just getting her primed for High School when she has to sell 10. Remember me next year, I will save my $15 for Kali.
